The Rundown: Sara and the others discover the truth and learn who has been keeping them locked up.

Sara and the other escaping kids discover the horror of the surgeries being performed on other kids. As they run to escape the facility, they discover not only who has the keys to their freedom, but that the man running the facility is Sara’s father. A man who reveals the reason the kids are being locked up and has no problem killing them to keep the world safe.
As the kids show more of their power, they manage to find their way out of the office, but things get more intense when the police arrive and the kids are surrounded. As things get dire and one of them goes down, the remaining teenagers with Sara in the lead discover how powerful they are together and what that could mean for the world.
The Story: Orellana delivers a solid conclusion to this story. The story is filled with action, thrills and revelations that not only add to the drama of the story, but set up a great conflict to come for the characters. I really enjoyed entering this world and Orellana opens the door for a bigger, more intense story to come. I’d be interested in revisiting this world again if Orellana has more stories to tell.
The Art: Orellana delivers beautifully detailed and visually thrilling art throughout the issue.
